Dr. Vidor is an expert oculoplastic surgeon in Orange County and greater Los Angeles area. He practices the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive oculoplastic surgery. His practice is focused on the procedures in which he is a leading surgeon, including blepharoplasty (eyelid lift/ eyelid surgery), ptosis repair (eyelid muscle surgery), ectropion repair (eyelids turning out), entropion repair (eyelids turning in), repair of lid retraction (eyelids too tight), tear duct surgery, reconstruction after eyelid skin cancer (such as MOHS reconstruction), and treating orbital diseases. Dr. Vidor specializes in revision of eyelid surgery after previous unsatisfactory plastic surgery, eye trauma, or cancer.
Dr. Vidor is one of fewer than 600 surgeons worldwide that has completed a fellowship in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). He is board certified diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. His expertise in both oculoplastic surgery and ophthalmic microsurgery uniquely qualifies him to perform precise eyelid rejuvenation and reconstructive surgery while preserving visual function.
Dr. Vidor has published numerous articles in medical journals and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences across the U.S.A. He teaches other physicians and trains residents at Loma Linda Medical School where is an associate professor.
Dr. Vidor is a native of Orange County. He attended Fountain Valley High School. After earning High Honors at the UC Santa Barbara, he graduated valedictorian at the Chicago Medical School. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas – Southwestern.
Dr. Vidor was among the very few selected to complete a prestigious ASOPRS fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at West Virginia University under the preceptorship of world renown Drs. John Lindberg and Jennifer Sivak-Calcott.
Dr. Vidor returned to his Southern Californian roots where he lives in Orange County, with his wife and two adorable daughters. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, waterskiing, hiking and spending time with his family.
